Fruit Pie Pinwheels

  • Thaw sheet of frozen puff pastry on parchment paper
  • Roll out pastry to form a rectangle
  • Spread with your favorite Mrs. Ruth's Jams
  • Roll up from short side of pastry in jelly roll fashion
  • Slice into 1/2 inch slices with serrated knife
  • Bake at 350 degrees on parchment paper lined cookie sheet for 20 minutes or until golden brown
  • Serve warm - delicious!

Grandma's 10 Minute Biscuits

  • 1/2 cup butter - melted
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 4 tsps baking powder (or 3 tsp w/self-rising flour)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • Pour melted butter into 8" pan. Mix remaining ingredients. Press dough into dish on top of butter.  Drag knife through dough to make 9 squares.  Bake in 450 degree oven 20-25 min.
  • Spread with Mrs. Ruth's Jams - and enjoy!

Mrs. Ruth's Jams Viniagrette

  • 2 Tablespoons any flavor of Mrs. Ruth's jams
  • 1/4 cup bottled Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing 
  • Mix well with whisk.  Dress salads or refrigerate for later
  • Yummy on fresh spinach and fruit salad - top with sliced almonds, if desired!

Mrs. Ruth's Jams Cheese Spread

  • 8 ounces freshly grated Sharp cheddar
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 dashes cayenne pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup Mrs. Ruth's Jams Pineapple Jalapeno (or Cranberry Jalapeno)
  • Mix until blended
  • Serve on split cherry tomatoes or toasted baguettes
  • Sprinkle with bacon crumbles

Shrimp, Cheese & Mrs. Ruth's Jam

  • Unwrap block of cream cheese onto serving dish
  • Cover with Mrs. Ruth's Jams Cranberry Chutney or Cranberry Jalapeño 
  • Sprinkle with 1 cup cooked, diced shrimp
  • Serve on baguette

Angel Biscuits & Mrs. Ruth's Jams

  • Bake frozen tea biscuits according to package; split open
  • On one side, place slice of cooked country or deli ham
  • On the other side, slather with your favorite Mrs. Ruth's Jams (Cranberry Chutney, Cranberry Jalapeño, Jalapeño Fig, Carolina Mater Chutney are all yummy)

  • Unwrap a block of cream cheese
  • Top with Mrs. Ruth's Jams:  savory flavors like Hot Pepper, Carolina Mater Chutney or Cranberry Jalapeño or sweet flavors like Blackberry or Cherry

  • Upgrade your favorite grilled cheese sandwich

Meat Marinade

  • Mix  together 2 tablespoons of olive oil;  2 tablespoons of Mrs. Ruth's Jams Cranberry Jalapeño, Carolina Mater Chutney or other spicy variety with 1/4 cup vinegar 
  • Use for meat marinade with your favorite chicken or shrimp
  • Grill or bake until done
